That matters because firmer US growth usually supports the&nbsp;<strong>US dollar<\/strong>, which is typically&nbsp;<strong>negative for gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the chart,\u00a0<strong>DXY still looks to be in a broader daily uptrend<\/strong>. The\u00a0<strong>100.0\u2013100.5 area<\/strong>\u00a0stands out as a key support zone where buyers could step back in. If the dollar holds that area and pushes higher, it would continue to support the\u00a0<strong>bearish gold<\/strong>\u00a0view. If DXY loses that support, the setup should be\u00a0<strong>reassessed<\/strong>, not defended blindly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even after the softer jobs print,&nbsp;<strong>money markets haven\u2019t meaningfully shifted<\/strong>.
